Golden Krone Hotel is a gothic horror roguelike about playing as both human and vampire in every run.
In many ways, GKH is more streamlined and accessible than other traditional roguelikes. You can get a good sense of the reasoning behind its approach in this series of blog posts. A careful and observant player has a reasonable chance of learning everything they need to know within the game itself, at least enough for a "naive" strategy that is more than enough to win the game consistently.
